Manage user-submitted reports and complaints
Reports Management
The Reports Management system allows administrators to view, review, and manage user-submitted reports for gigs, buyer requests, offers, and users.
Location: Dashboard → Reports
Overview
The Reports Management page provides a comprehensive view of all user-submitted reports, allowing administrators to:
- View all reports with filtering options
- See detailed information about each report
- Update report status (pending, resolved, rejected)
- View the reported item and reporter information
- Delete reports when necessary
Accessing Reports
- Navigate to Dashboard → Reports
- You'll see a list of all reports with the following information:
- Report ID
- Reporter information
- Reported item (Gig, Buyer Request, Offer, or User)
- Reason for the report
- Status (Pending, Resolved, Rejected)
- Date submitted
Filtering Reports
You can filter reports by:
- Search: Search by reporter name, email, or report reason
- Status: Filter by pending, resolved, or rejected status
- Type: Filter by report type (Gig, Buyer Request, Offer, User)
Click "Clear Filters" to reset all filters.
Viewing Report Details
- Click the eye icon in the Actions column for any report
- The report details page will show:
- Reporter information
- Reported item details with link to view
- Full report reason
- Report submission date
- Current status
Updating Report Status
- Open a report's detail page
- Select the new status from the dropdown:
- Pending: Report is awaiting review
- Resolved: Issue has been addressed
- Rejected: Report was found to be invalid
- Click "Save" to update the status
Deleting Reports
- Click the trash icon in the Actions column
- Confirm the deletion
- The report will be permanently removed
Note: Deleting a report cannot be undone. Make sure you want to delete it before confirming.
Report Types
Gig Reports
Reports submitted for specific gigs. Click the gig link to view the reported gig.
Buyer Request Reports
Reports submitted for buyer requests. Click the link to view the reported buyer request.
Offer Reports
Reports submitted for offers/bids. Click the link to view the offer details.
User Reports
Reports submitted for user profiles. Click the link to view the reported user's profile.
Best Practices
- Review Regularly: Check pending reports regularly to maintain platform quality
- Investigate Thoroughly: Review the reported item before making a decision
- Update Status Promptly: Keep report statuses up to date for better tracking
- Document Actions: Use admin notes (if available) to document your review process
