Manage users, create accounts, edit profiles, and assign roles
User Management
Manage all users on your platform. View, create, edit, and delete user accounts. Assign roles and manage user permissions.
Location: Dashboard → Users
Viewing Users
View all registered users on your platform.
- Go to Dashboard → Users
- See list of all users with name, username, email, role, status, and registration date
- Use filters to find specific users
Searching and Filtering Users
Find users quickly using filters.
Search:
- Search by name, username, or email
- Type in the search box
- Results update as you type
Filter by Role:
- Admin - Show only admin users
- User - Show only regular users
- All - Show all users
Filter by Status:
- Active - Active users
- Inactive - Inactive users
- All - All statuses
Click "Clear Filters" to reset all filters.
Creating Users
Create new user accounts manually.
- Go to Dashboard → Users
- Click "Create User"
- Fill in the form:
- Name - User's full name
- Username - Unique username
- Email - Valid email address
- Password - User's password
- Role - Assign user role (optional)
- Click "Save"
The user account is created and the user can log in immediately.
Editing Users
Edit user information and settings.
- Go to Dashboard → Users
- Find the user you want to edit
- Click "Edit" button
- Modify user information:
- Name, username, email
- Password (leave empty to keep current)
- Role assignment
- Status (Active/Inactive)
- Click "Save"
Changes apply immediately.
Assigning Roles
Assign roles to users to control their permissions.
- Edit the user
- Find "Roles" section
- Select roles from the dropdown
- User can have multiple roles
- Save changes
Common roles:
- Admin - Full access to admin panel
- User - Regular platform user
- Seller - Can create gigs
- Buyer - Can purchase gigs
Role permissions control what users can do on your platform.
User Status
Control user account status.
Active:
- User can log in
- User can use platform features
- Default status for new users
Inactive:
- User cannot log in
- Account is disabled
- Use for suspended accounts
Change status by editing the user and selecting new status.
Deleting Users
Delete user accounts.
- Go to Dashboard → Users
- Find the user to delete
- Click "Delete" button
- Confirm deletion
Deleted users are moved to trash. You can restore them from the Trash page.
User Trash
View and restore deleted users.
- Go to Dashboard → Users → Trash
- See list of deleted users
- Restore - Restore user account
- Permanently Delete - Permanently remove user
Restored users regain access with their previous settings.
