Manage buyer requests and proposals from freelancers
Buyer Requests
Manage buyer requests posted by clients and proposals submitted by freelancers. Review, approve, or delete requests.
Location: Dashboard → Buyer Requests
Viewing Buyer Requests
View all buyer requests on your platform.
- Go to Dashboard → Buyer Requests
- See list of all requests with:
- Request title and description
- Buyer information
- Category
- Budget range
- Status
- Number of proposals
Understanding Buyer Requests
Buyer requests allow clients to post project requirements and receive proposals from freelancers.
Request Information:
- Title - Project title
- Description - Detailed project requirements
- Category - Project category
- Budget - Budget range (min-max)
- Delivery Time - Expected delivery time
- Status - Open, In Progress, Completed, Closed
Proposals:
- Freelancers can submit proposals for buyer requests
- Each proposal includes price, delivery time, and message
- Buyers can accept or reject proposals
Managing Buyer Requests
Viewing Request Details
- Go to Dashboard → Buyer Requests
- Click on a request to view details
- See:
- Full request description
- Buyer information
- All proposals from freelancers
- Request status
Deleting Requests
Delete inappropriate or spam requests.
- Go to Dashboard → Buyer Requests
- Find the request to delete
- Click "Delete" button
- Confirm deletion
Deleting a request will also remove all associated proposals. Make sure this is what you want before confirming.
Searching and Filtering
Find specific buyer requests quickly.
Search:
- Search by request title or buyer name
- Type in the search box
Filters:
- Category - Filter by category
- Status - Filter by status (Open, In Progress, Completed, Closed)
Click "Clear Filters" to reset.
Request Statuses
Open - Request is active and accepting proposals
In Progress - Buyer has accepted a proposal and work has started
Completed - Project has been completed
Closed - Request is closed (no longer accepting proposals)
Best Practices
Monitoring Requests:
- Regularly review new requests
- Check for spam or inappropriate content
- Monitor proposal quality
- Ensure fair pricing
Moderation:
- Delete spam or low-quality requests
- Encourage detailed descriptions
- Verify buyer accounts if needed
- Monitor for duplicate requests
